What Is a USPS-Approved Cluster Mailbox?
A Cluster Mailbox (also known as a Cluster Box Unit – CBU) is a pedestal-mounted, centralized mailbox system approved by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Each unit contains 8, 12, 13, or 16 locked mail compartments, typically accompanied by 1 or 2 parcel lockers, allowing for secure mail and package delivery to multiple recipients in a single location.
